SUFFERING TURNS INTO BLESSINGS WHEN WE OFFER THEM UP AND PRAY SPECIAL ROSARY

When we offer suffering to God we find joy in everything. It's what the saints did. What a way of approaching life! That means letting go. It means accepting His Plan. It doesn't mean accepting all tragedy: no, there are times we can prevent the negative, many times; we are not supposed to take adversity lying down. But once we have "tested" the origin of an adversity by fervently praying against or beyond or through it -- and we still are in the midst of a trial -- offering it up carries power that turns into grace.

Sufferings turn into blessings. We are wearing His Plan for us well -- the imprint of His design in our souls, where the real "us" was birthed by Christ, shows around us.

Remember, whatever the adversity, that there are always blessings down the road.

Do not become lulled by the world that surrounds us.

This is happening frequently: there is a spirit of indifference. We are being lulled into that. There is distaste for everything and everyone.

When we fall into the trap, we are diverted by God's blessings.

Those blessings may not be precisely what you design. They may not be blessings according to worldly standards. But they will be profound.

They are at the junctures and stretches of road that the Lord designed before you were born, and we miss those blessings when we stray from that road, from His imprint, from the robe He wishes us to wear.

His blessings are on the right road for your life and they come as places of blessings in His timing -- at just the right moment.

It's when we stray from His route and try to force matters sooner than He has planned that we encounter roadblocks and frustrations.

He can only guide us when we are moving. We go nowhere when we are sitting around feeling sorry for ourselves. We especially go nowhere when we are sitting on the fence (between His realm and that of the world). Now as far as prayer -- especially in difficult times -- there is the Seven Sorrows Rosary (promoted by the Blessed Mother during his Church-approved apparitions in Kibeho, Rwanda). Here's how to pray it.

The Blessed Virgin Mary revealed to St. Bridget of Sweden (1303-1373) that seven graces are granted to the souls who honor her daily by saying seven Hail Mary's and meditating on her tears and dolors. Below are the graces:

  1. I will grant peace to your families.

  2. You will be enlightened about the divine mysteries.

  3. I will console you in your pains and I will accompany you in their work.

  4. I will give you as much as you ask for as long as it does not oppose the adorable will of my divine Son or the sanctification of your soul.

  5. I will defend you in your spiritual battles with the infernal enemy and I will protect you at every instant of your life.

  6. I will visibly help you at the moment of your death, you will see the face of your Mother.

  7. I have obtained (This Grace) from my divine Son, that you who propagate this devotion to my tears and dolors, will be taken directly from this earthly life to eternal happiness since all your sins will be forgiven and my Son and I will be your eternal consolation and joy..

She also promised that over time, the Rosary would develop within us a deep understanding of why we sin, and that knowledge would give us the wisdom and strength to change or remove any internal flaws, weakness of character, or personality faults that cause unhappiness and keep us from enjoying the joyous life God, radiating at us from the manger, intended for us to live.
