Things Fall Into Place If We Pray To The Holy Spirit And Seek God's Blueprint

Everything falls into place when we are in God's Plan for our lives. It's a simple truth that can change our lives.

How often we stray! At some point in our lives and often more than once, we take charge and plot our futures without adequate godly consultation. We decide what we should do -- or more accurately, what we want to do -- and often it's something that seems glamorous.

We see what another person has and aspire to that -- instead of what God has in store for us -- and we encounter friction.

How many people frustrate themselves by trying to be what they are not! They have bought the worldly view, which sees money and fame and power as important. Everyone wants to be on television!

There is a blueprint for your life, and like the blueprints for a house, it is very specific. As Psalms (139:16) says, “You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.”

From the day your soul was created, God set forth a specific path, and when one little thing is done in a way that strays, it can have a large effect.

Things clang when we do that -- while they run like clockwork when they're part of what the Lord has stenciled into the blueprints. Think of a blueprint. Think of all the lines and measurements and specifications. Think of how important a blueprint is, right down to the size of nails.

The same is true with us.

Follow directions and things work; shortcut them and find trouble.

Details count!

Haven't you seen it in your life? When we're part of what God seeks to accomplish, the Lord lines things up and any resistance is temporary. It's just a test. Going against something that God wants is fruitless. You can't knock it down. Neither can your enemies. If He is with us, who can be against us?

However, you are easy pickings if you are diverting from the plan.

How do we tell?

There is uneasiness. We lack a tranquil spirit. No matter what we do or pray, we can't find real rest. It's right there in Scripture: "Peace to those who enjoy His favor."

We are at peace when we are in God's favor and we are in His favor when we are in His design.

Uneasiness, nervousness, anxiety, and certainly larger emotions like fear indicate that we are not in total conformity with that design and need to re-evaluate what we are and who we think we are.

When we feel uneasy (that somehow something is amiss, that no matter how much we're praying or working or trying to work through something, we can't find peace, or at least the kind of tranquility we crave), we have to settle back and let the Holy Spirit show us where we are off the mark.

This happens to us all.

Even those who pray a lot have trouble achieving peace if there is something out of sorts with what the Lord had in mind. He has a blueprint for all our lives, and He doesn't want us redesigning it.

He is the architect! And yet redesigning what He has created is common. Look around you! The many synthetic ways we have changed what He has created have only led to unseen problems, while a place that is totally natural gives us tranquility.

The same is true in our personal lives. What we create has ill effects. What we design is flawed. It is His blueprint we must seek. Ask the Holy Spirit to show it to you, and ask the Blessed Mother to explain it! Yearn to live exactly the life that God deemed fit for you -- and everything will fall into place.

Otherwise, it's butting your head against the wall. You can work night and day and pray a million novenas and do everything possible, but if it's not in God's design, it won't come easy. Something will be missing. It will be a struggle all the way.

While everything we do on this earth can involve a struggle, the struggle of those who are out of sync with God is a different kind of struggle, and it bears poor fruit (as is true with a tree that is forced to grow where it was not intended to grow). There is unnatural strain.

Seek God's blueprint. Pray to see what He has in mind for you. And don't covet the gifts of others. This is a great stumbling block: forsaking what God has given us, and seeking after what He has appointed for others.

Don't try to be a famous actress if God meant for you to be a housewife. Don't seek to be a lawyer if God wants you to be a carpenter. Don't try to get rich for the sake of being rich, which is self-glorification.

It all comes down to ego, and when we have ego, we have pride, which is anti-miraculous.

On the opposite side, when we realize that being a housewife or an electrician or a teacher is just as or more important than being an actor or author or for that matter a world leader, we find the true blueprints for our lives and with it true happiness.
