VIRGIN FOCUSED ON YOUTH AS THOSE WHO WOULD RESCUE THE WORLD THROUGH AMERICA

According to revelations from the alleged apparitions to American nun Mildred Mary Neuzil, the Virgin Mary specifically focused on the nation's young, and as events had it, seemed tied to the Catholic Church's World Youth Day.

"Our Lady made known to me that she is particularly interested in the youth of our nation," wrote the seer [her italics]. "It is they who are to be the leaders of this movement of renewal on the face of the earth. Their ranks will be swelled by the youths of other nations whom Our Lady also calls to help in the accomplishment of this great renewal."

Sister Mildred's prophecy began to unfold in 1993 when the Pope arrived in Denver for a huge gathering of young Christians. There, in procession, was a 300-pound statue of Our Lady of America constructed by a group led by Californian Audrey Frank (who aided Sister Mildred in her last years and is currently working toward final fulfillment of the Blessed Mother's requests to the Ohio nun).

According to Audrey it was just before Youth Day that Sister Mildred began intense suffering, including asthma, a broken hip, heart problems, and arthritis that around this time or soon after would grow so severe that she was hunched at a 45-degree angle.

But the cause was met and there on television the cloistered nun was able to finally catch a glimpse of the fruit of her hidden apparition. Though few knew what it was, the white statue with flowing veil and prominent crown was framed at one point in the same panorama as the Pope.

The youth could rescue our country, believed Sister Mildred, but they must be prepared, "and this must be done by instilling into them, not only the knowledge of the Divine Indwelling, but a serious study of it, a living it in such a way that the Divine Presence becomes, as it were, an intimate and necessary part of their lives and daily living.

"From this will flow a great love, a conflagration that will envelop the world in the flames of Divine Charity. This is what our Lady is working for, because this is the great desire of her Divine Son, and it is to the youth of America that she is holding out this challenge"...

A challenge that could well determine not only America's destiny but that of the whole world...
