UPDATE AND HOUSEKEEPING: FROM PROPHETIC PILGRIMAGE TO HOLY LAND TO UPCOMING RETREATS TO TV SHOW

Summer housekeeping:

There are a number of events and announcements to clear, starting with the fact that, God-willing, we'll be leading our first formal trip to the Holy Land this fall!

The trip will include all the major sites associated with Jesus (under the expert guidance of 206 Tours) and will focus on the Lord's Galilee ministry, giving us a chance, on location, to explore His healings, His manners of deliverance, and His prophecies. We will explore the relationships between Marian "secrets" and biblical prophecies. We'll even cross the Sea of Galilee on boat.

Visiting places like the Church of the Annunciation and the Holy Sepulcher -- the site of Crucifixion -- confer feelings as powerful as any apparition site!

We travel via the coast to Caesarea, where the Romans held Paul prisoner. Visit the Roman and Crusader ruins. Drive through the Carmel Mountains heading for Galilee. In Haifa, visit Stella Maris, a Carmelite Monastery with the Madonna of Mt Carmel. Continue to Mukhraka where Elijah confronted the false prophets of Baal and where the Carmelite Order was started. Drive to Cana, the village of Jesus' first miracle of changing water into wine; here couples may renew their wedding vows. Continue to the Basilica of Annunciation in Nazareth where we will celebrate Mass and visit Mary's Well and the Church of the Angel Gabriel. Some of the highlights are a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum to see the synagogue and St. Peter's house, a visit to the Mount of the Beatitudes where the Sermon on the Mount was given. And much more [see here].

So we're excited about that.

Our pilgrimage to Medjugorje went well, with powerful reactions and pilgrims from across the U.S. (as well as a TV crew from ABC that shot footage of our pilgrims for a special report scheduled to air soon). The pilgrims were aged from eight to 86!

As for retreats, again, through God's grace, we recently completed one in New Jersey that met with excellent results -- on the Medjugorje anniversary day. We have scheduled other retreats (again, God willing) for Denver (September 10), San Diego (September 24), Los Angeles (September 25), and Boston (October 1). We also hope to visit Atlanta shortly.

Last but not least -- in these housekeeping matters -- we are currently building a gift shop to accompany our bookstore -- something we have wanted to do for years and finally have the time to set up. It is now open and we will be adding items continually. We are excited to bring the extremely high-quality Roman collections of statues, which range widely in price, size, and kind and rank as among the best in value.
