PROPHECY ON NATURAL EVENTS AND 'RUMBLING' ECHOED IN BOOK OF REVELATION

@Spirit Daily

A rumbling? "Strange loud rumblings"?

That's part of a 1990 prophecy we've been discerning, a prophecy that, as we have mentioned, seems to have correctly indicated the onset of natural disasters along with the evil of cloning. The anonymous prophecy, said to have come in a dream on December 3, also mentioned something that has not yet occurred: what it called a warning that would involve not fire but the fear of fire from the sky, and "strange loud rumblings." These would supposedly precede a series of chastisements.

In our last article  we explored what confluence of events might constitute fear of fire and the rumblings. Could it be an earthquake, which, through forces of friction, can cause electrical flashes of light? Could it be a mega-volcano? We saw warnings just this week that a volcano in the Canary Islands could collapse and cause an unprecedented disaster. Or would the description best fit a strike by small asteroids? These would certainly cause fear of fire from the sky -- and if they struck, loud rumblings.

We decided to turn to the Book of Revelation. There we were struck by the number of times the term "rumbling" is used -- rumbling in Chapter 4 that came with lightning from the throne of God, rumblings in Chapter 8 that came with flashes of lightning (might this be the fear of fire from the sky?), rumblings in Chapter 11 that came with a great hailstorm.

Indeed, looked at this way, the use of rumblings ties in many elements of what we see as developing events: the storms that are growing more severe in various parts of the world, the swarm of tremors, the flashes of lightning so intense that in one recent case all 11 members of a Congo soccer team were killed by a single bolt.

Thus, if we can use Revelation as a prophetic guide, what is going on now seems to indicate a step-up in all sorts -- an array -- of natural disturbances. Are these events building up to a mega-event or a series of mega-events, as propounded in Sent To Earth?

Again we turn to Revelation, this time Chapter 16, verses 17-19: "Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since man has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake."

If Revelation is pertinent to our specific times -- or if it at least grants a template of prophetic events in every era -- then we may indeed be poised for a mega-earthquake, one that would not affect a single city but radiate over a long distance with echoes in various parts of the world. Time and again, we emphasize that conversion and prayer can halt such things. Time and again, we try to provide the upside of spirituality. But so far the response is not there, and so the times and the signs become all the more dangerous.

Next: the first chastisements
