Priest who died at Medjugorje said to be appearing to seers
@Spirit Daily
For the second time in a week there's a report that a visionary has seen Father Slavko Barbaric, former spiritual director at the famous apparition site of Medjugorje, during an appearance of the Blessed Mother. We reported last Friday that during an annual birthday apparition on March 18, seer Mirjana Soldo, whose daily visions stopped in 1982, indicated she may have seen the priest with the Virgin (something that some say she has since denied; we are trying to confirm it). Father Slavko died last Thanksgiving weekend while praying on a local holy spot called Mount Kricevac. During the apparition Mirjana was described as alternately joyful, serious, and teary-eyed. When asked why she was so happy at times -- if it was because she had been allowed to see Father Slavko -- Mirjana had said she couldn't comment. "You saw Father Slavko, didn't you?" asked one of her American friends, Lynn Hoffman. Mirjana had just laughed. "I can't talk about it," she said. But now there are reports that seer Ivan Dragicevic has also seen the priest. When asked during an appearance at St. Rose of Lima Church in Chelsea, Massachusetts, on March 25 if he saw Father Slavko (according to Carol Cohoon, who works for Marian Messengers in Framingham and accompanied the seer), Ivan answered simply, "Yes."
