Donations: we need and appreciate it!

Author Michael Brown asked the American bishops to seriously consider institution of a statue commemorating the Virgin as guardian of America and purity. His plea was made during an appearance at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. Monday.

Brown pointed out that the nation was consecrated to the Immaculate Conception long ago and must return to that purity as well as to the protection of youth.

The request for such a statue was made in obscure apparitions to an American nun, Sister Mildred Mary Ephrem Neuzil, whose book of messages was edited by an archbishop and granted his imprimatur.
